Team IP is thrilled to announce a new three year partnership with USA Judo along with host Miami, FL.  The Judo World Cup will see thousands of international athletes participate from as many as 40 countries.  The 2010 World Cup will be held on August 26-29 at the Doral Country Club in Miami.  The World Cup competition is August 26-27; the US Open on August 28; and the North American and the Central American Championships on August 29.

Team IP CEO and President Randy Sparks announced today that Rick Husted had joined forces with Team IP as its newest Executive Director for Direct and Event Sales.  Rick Husted will remain in Virginia Beach, VA,  along with his wife and two children and assist in event operations and human capital development in surrounding states while taking on corporate assignments to include corporate, government, and direct sales. Rick’s background includes over a decade of experience in event souvenir merchandising, team building, management, training and sales.

Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC), headquartered in Ashville, NC, which is a member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) signed an agreement with Team IP as its official event merchandiser to begin immediately in 2010.  This agreement includes ‘Turn-key’ event merchandising, an official ecommerce ‘AAC Store’, presale opportunities, ‘If Win’, and post Conference Championship Merchandise Programs.

In light of the current crisis taking place in the nation of Haiti, Team IP is stepping up to the plate by sending several skids(representing thousands of pieces) of t-shirts and hooded sweatshirts to this impoverished nation through World Vision International.

The NFHS and Team IP recently signed an extension of its agreement thru the NFHS Winter Meeting in January of 2012.  Team IP supports programs for both the summer and winter meetings which includes over 750 delegates that attend annually.  Team IP currently partners with 20% of the NFHS members nationally and recently re-signed 5 year agreements with Kentucky High School Athletic Association (KHSAA), South Carolina High School League (SCHSL), and Mississippi High School Activity Association (MHSAA). 

The Small Business Commerce Association (SBCA) recently selected Team IP for the 2009 Best of Business Award for Event Souvenir Merchandiser in the United States. The SBCA Best of Business Award Program recognizes the best of small businesses throughout the country. Using consumer feedback and other research, the SBCA identifies companies that we believe have demonstrated what makes small businesses a vital part of the American economy. The selection committee chooses the award winners from nominees based off information taken from monthly surveys administered by the SBCA, a review of consumer rankings, and other consumer reports.  Award winners are a valuable asset to their community and exemplify what makes small businesses great.
